Found a complete set of cultivators for my Farmall B and exhaust lift. How should they be painted. I know parts of it should be blue. What shade of blue and where? Please email me if you know, or have pictures. Thanks for the help!

It depends on what year it is. The late ones were RED the Guards were dark BLUE the shanks were BLACK. Older ones had the solid bars black and some had BLUE gangs but all shanks BLACK. I have 5 and there are different colors on some pieces. What type shanks do you have? If the springs on the shanks stand up it is a different year than the ones with the springs facing back. Also your clamps holding the shanks are they two u-shaped clamps or are they held with one u-clamp at a 45 deg and a piece cast and a piece of flat bar? Please advise. Be glad to help. Do you have the rear tooling also. gene b

I looked at the cultivators- I think the springs face back and I think the clamps are the 2 u's.
I have the rear tooling- I'm going to put it and the cultivators on my 46 B
