I came across a running, very complete, streight, rusty Farmall C that I am trying to justify buying. It has heavy tool bars and a plow on both sides in front, rear cultivators (looks like pix of McCormic C-254) and a pile of cultivators on shanks w springs, points, wheels & bars. What do you suppose the plows & cultivators are worth?

I guess it all depends on suppy and demand, but it's mighty hard to find a set in Ontario for less than $500. I paid $600 this winter for a full set for an AV because of their scarcity here. I have also bought a running A this winter for about the same price with a complete set with hillers for potatoes.

I agree with what the others have said so far on the price. I bought a set for $35 at auction. However, I have also see them go for $370 for a complete set at auction too. I guess it is just who is there and how badly two people want them.

Hello, I put my cultivators on the scrap pile and sold them with the rest of the scrap iron. I did cut the fast hitch mounts off the rear cultivator so I could make a rear carrier. The cultivators in my area (Central Ill.) haven't been worth much. If someone would have stopped by with an interest in them...they could have had them for nothing. Have a good day.

I have 3 cultivators for my "C" and the last 2 was bought at auction for $5 or $10. They aren't worth much unless you are going to use them.
