Was a widefront an option on a B? Over the years I have seen a couple for sale with widefronts but its rare so I'm wondering if they were after market conversions. Thanks

I am selling my restored wide front BN. The front is off an A or super A. It all fits as though factory.

Bud, The "B" and "BN" came either with narrow front wheels or single front wheel, and never with Wide front. If you see one with a WFE, it has been added. A WFE from a "C" will adapt quite easily. Others were just fabricated from scratch.

THE FARMALL B HAD 75,241 AND THE FARMALL BN HAD 14,967 UNITS MANUFACTURED AND BY OFFERING NO WFE CONFIGURATION PROBABLY SAVED A BIT BY SHIPPING MORE UNITS PER TRUCK OR TRAIN TO AREA TRACTOR DEALERS. IN ALL CASES FOR ITS SIZE AND COST THESE WHERE MIGHTY FINE TRACTORS. I KNOW OF ONE IN UPPER MICHIGAN AFTER 58 YEARS IS STILL PULLING GARDEN CULTIVATING DUTY. BEEN STORED UNDER A SHED 99% OF THOSE YEARS.
