Might be the nature of the manifold itself. The Regular manifold was designed to run hot to vaporize kerosene.Running it on gasoline it is almost impossible to restart after sitting a couple of minuites.Got to let it cool for about half hour then it fires right off.I don't have a good starting tank for gas or I might try runing it on kerosene.Anybody have any Input??

run mine on gas all the time. sounds like you should change plugs. check carb to see if its not flooding out or needs adjusting. pg

Another thing that can make tractors hard to start when hot is that the coil or condenser is going bad. I've never been around a Regular, though; I'm just assuming those near prehistoric beasts have coils and condensers ;-)

A long time ago we had an F 12. We run it on gasoline. It was hard starting when warm.Might be the nature of the beast but I really dont know what the reason was.
