2 bottom - fast hitch plow question

Recently my father-in-law came across a 2 bottom plow for my 350. Although I wan't necissarily looking for one I couldn't pass up the deal. We got it home and hooked it up to the two point and discovered that it didn't work very well hooked up to the fast hitch alone so we attached my 3-point top link to a connection that was on the top of the plow and it worked great.

My only concern is the top link connection on the plow looks as if it was added after the plow left the factory.

My questions are as follows:
1) Where can I find a manual?
2) Does anyone have any idea what model it is?
3) I am guessing I am not supposed to be using the top link from the three point set up. How was this plow originally attached to the tractor?

Thanks in advance,

Andy

I HAVE A 300 UTILITY.ITS PLOW REQUIRES A TOP LINK.THE 350 UTIITY HAS DIFFERENT FAST HITCH SET THAN THE 300.THE 300 HAS 3 LOCATIONS FOR TOP LINK.THE UPPER 2 ROTATE WITH THE LIFT ARMS AS YOU RAISE AND LOWER.THESE 2 WERE FOR CERTAIN IMPLEMENTS SUCH AS PLOW OR SICKLE BAR MOWER.THE LOWER LOCATION (WHICH WAS STATIONRY) WAS FOR 3 PT IMPLEMENTS ADATED TO FAST HITCH. YOUR 350 ONLY HAS THIS ONE.I THINK YOU HAVE WRONG PLOW.I USED TO HAVE A MANUAL.

IH had a top link on a 300 utility plow. May be what you have.

Not sure, but you may have a Fast Hitch plow for a Super C or 200. Those had smaller "prongs" and will fit a larger tractor like the 350 or 450, but you need to put the "spacers" or steel bars in your 350 Fast Hitch so they won't be sloppy. I have a 2 bottom FH plow for Cmore and works great. Can't imagine where you hooked the top link?? Cmore
