I need to replace the seal that comes out of the tranny on my M. Can someone tell me how to remove the belly pump? I know there is something special to do to get the coupler off the pump shaft.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Bob

but when you put it back in is when things get tough!!!!! !!! make sure your groove on the tractor side is straight up. then tape (i used black tape) on the coupler to your pump. if not it is real tough to hold the coupler and line the pump, even at 40.

no, when you drop the pump out the coupler will fall on the ground. you might want help to put it back in. I used to lie on the creeper and put them back in alone but we were younger then!

The cowman is right.remove all the plumbing.seperate the lever. Get a good floor jack under it and let it down You might need to rotate the cupling to make it come out. We man handled them years ago also. hate to try it at 65
