Hi, Can anyone out there give me any info on the availibility of a live hydraulic pump that can be adapted to fit the H?
I was told that the super H had one and could be adapted to the 51 H, but not sure if that was good info.
Putting a grader blade on the H and would like to have live hydraulics. thanks for any help anyone can give. Dick in Fallon

These pumps are available all the time on ebay and the auction here at YT. You shouldn't have to pay more than $200.

check with bates corpotation in bourbon indiana - they are on the web as batescorp. bought my set up from them several years ago. word of warning - it ain't cheap. spent around 6-700 as i remember to change mine. HOWEVER - to me it was well worth it!!!!

Dick, I have a 48 H that has had a live pump added. The guy that gave me the tractor told me that he got it from the local IH dealer for $140. This was probably back in the 50's or 60's. The pump mounts between the mag and the front of the motor and is driven off the cam shaft gear. I've been trying to figure out a problem with mine as it has been over heating. Several guys on this forum have thought the pump is under load all the time. It apparently worked fine at one time though. Anyway, try your local IH dealer and see if they can get a pump. I know many of the H's that this conversion done.
