I bought a 400 at a farm sale last fall and the top of the radiator with the cap on it was below the sheet metal. The rest of the radiator appears to be the same. Is the top tank on the 300 shorter than the 400 radiator? Are there any other differances in the two radiators? Does the steering rod go thru the 300 radiator?

Sounds like a M or SM rad. 300 wouldn't work.

I have never been around a M or SM that much. Does the steering rod go thru the hole in the top of the radiators on the M/SM models like it does on the 400?
