I am restoring a 1940 farmall b and I noticed that the radator has a small leak once the water gets heated up. It is just a drip but I want to stop it . Can I put stop leak in even though it dose not have a waterpump or will it clog up things Thanks Steve

I have to think that stop-leak in a thermo-siphon cooling system will only sink to the bottom and clog up the works. The only real way to fix the leak is take the radiator off and get take it to a radiator shop.

If you a doing a true restore then I recommend taking the radiator in to a radiator shop and having it repaired properly. Even if you are not doing a true restore then I would recommend the same thing. I have always look at Stop Leak as a temporary fix until it can be repaired properly. Just my $0.02 worth.

I would have the radiator repaired or replace it, If you had a water pump it would be worth a try, without the circulation I think it would just plug up and make the situation worse.
good luck with your repairs,
