I go out and tinker in the shop and then come back in. Still have not fed today. I fed extra last night as I thought it might do this. The sky is getting lighter and pretty soon I will go unroll some hay in the mud, At least the girls will think they are fed! Sure good to see it RAIN!

First 20 rows of my sweet corn is up, planted April 7th. We've got 1 1/2 inches of rain in last two days here in WCentral Ill. Planted my sunflowers down in Missouri on April 17th so they should be up in a few more days!! Cmore

Had 1.25" the last couple of days about 150? miles or so south of you. That's a monsoon for us.

That first rain is pretty nice. Hopefully it keeps up. Any idea how much you are down from "normal" ? We are still down about 9", and that's after getting 2" in the last week.

Kind of unusual to see rain around here isn't it? My sweet corn is up and enjoying the moisture!

Seet corn is my only crop these days. Took a chance by planting first week of April.
