I'm restoring a Farmall Super C that has different rear tires. One is 11.2-36 on 11" rim, the other is 12.4-36 on 11" rim. What should be on it ? I tried to measure the rims, hard to do with tires on them but appear to be 11"x 38". Can someone also explain what those numbers represent ? Is the 12.4 mean width and the 36 diameter ? Thank's . . . . . Rick

11.2 or 12.4 is the cross section width at the widest part of the tire. 36 is the rim diameter. Some manufacturers have dropped 36 inch tires. My Goodyear dealer said he couldn't get them -- don't know if that's true. I have bought Firestone Field and Road 36's and 38's in the past 18 months or so. It is likely that your rims are 10" not 11". 11.2-36 4 ply tires are adequate for your tractor.

the farmall c i have has 11.2x36 on it and most of the super c and c tractor and my friend has a 200 witch is just a newer version has 11.2x36 tires the 11.2 or 12.4 is the tire width the 36 is rim diameter one thing that i do know for sure is the price of 36 inch tires are more than the price of 38 inch tires i think becouse its kinda a odd size my 37 john deere A has 36 inch, ive seen 3010 deeres with 36 inch and the c super c sizes and not many others
good luck
