I bought a nice one owner, rubber tired, IH 3 furrow drag with ace bottoms and spare for parts. It has the split adustable arms. Any idea where someone could get manual or some instruction on setting one of these old "girls" up? I thought it would be a perfect match to my newly acquired Super M. I last used one 32 years ago and someone much older and wiser than I had it all tuned. I will be turing some sod (as soon as it dries just a little), right next to the highway for all to see. Thanks...

Scruffy: Do you know what model number this plow is? If it has the tubular box beam diagonolly across the top plow bottoms and has trip bottoms, send me an e mail. I know where to find what you are looking for.

Hugh, do you have access to a manual for a 311? I would be interested in a copy.

Farmall 450 Man: I don't have anything on fast hitch plows other than a parts book for the frames, hitches, coulters only. The moldboards are contained in a separate book. Owners or operators manuals can often be found at shows in the summer.

Thanks Hugh, I've found a man with a parts manual that he is willing to sell and I am working on an operator's manual.

Guess I didn't didn't describe it very well, and I still havn't got up the nerve to try a photo, but it is a trip hitch. It was re-painted at some time and any steciling is gone. The only number I could find was a casting number on the main beam, SA6003. It has a diagonal piece of solid square steel stock across the top of the three furrows. Is this any better?

Scruffy: Try and e mail me a photo. I suspect your plow is a Little Genius, which number I'm not sure. I am only guessing that from your description. The number 60 and 70 plows both had a hollow square tube diagonol across the top. The Little Genius plows had a solid diagonol beam.

That number doesn't look right for an IH plow. If I had a photo would help a lot.
