I love to garden. This year I got a little carried away and planted about seven acres. I cultivate with a cub, but have an H in the barn that I've been restoring, runs fine. Can't wait to rig it up to cultivate and fertilize, but have no idea where I'm gonna find the equipment. I'd like to have a trailer plow an disk too, but am not too worried about finding those. How hard is it to come by a set of cultivators and ferilizer that'll fit the old H? Thanks ahead.

You did get carried away. I make my living on about 8 acres of vegetables. Be careful, farming can be the ruin of a good hobby.

The cultivator for my H came from an ad in the local paper. Most of it was sitting on someones rock pile. It would not hurt to try for two or three if they are cheap, since they may not be complete.

If you have a cultivating tractor, why not keep the H for plowing, disking, and planting ? The cultivator is heavy to mount and it will be in the way for everything else you want to do.

Matt,

I wish you lived a little closer to me. I have a (mostly) full set of two-row cultivators for an H that I would just give you. I saved them from a scrap dealer at an auction last year and I have no use for them. Larry

If you are in row crop area cultivator should not be hard to find though they are not as plentifull as they were a few years ago. Fertilizer attachments are another matter as fertilizer has destroyed most of them.
