I've had very good luck with them they are always nice and if something happens that you get the wrong parts they will do there best to make it right. They also get you the parts quick I can order something on monday, and have it by or before the next monday.

I bought a remanufactured head from them and all the valve seats were all tilted 0.020-0.030" to the left. A local machine shop repaired it and Valu Bilt made it right by me. I am not a big fan of aftermarket parts, but would not hesitate to buy parts from them again.

Now in their overhaul kits some bore size say increased from 4" to 4 1/8". Are the sleeves just thinner or do you need to bore the block out? i would asume that they are just thinner.

Sleeves are thinner, but they sell mostly pretty good stuff.

We've also had no problems with them as they are the one we buy all of our parts from. We did a complete engine rebuild with their parts on a Farmall Super AV and it is great. Great serivce and people. I would use them again in the future

My experience has been good with parts for my Ford from them.

I have one of their overhaul sets in a 350 gas and its still going strong after 3 seasons of hay mowing with a Kosch double 7, and grinding feed. Pistons, sleeves, rings, and gaskets.

Did you overbore? Did you notice any difference in power?

Nope. Put it back to standard. Power is plenty even in lowland bottom hay as long as the mower is in condition with good points and sharp sickle. I love this tractor. Needs a cup holder.
