Sorry for the post here but I am stumped. 451491-R7 and 450874R3 are numbers I took off my two fast hitch sickle bar mowers. Are these serial #'s? And if so, what are the models? Compatable with Farmall 340? Fast hitch leaves the bottom of the sickle dragging and have had an experienced farmer look and he says the mowers were for an older model tractor. I figured Super C? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

There are pictures of my IH #100 fast hitch mower mounted on my Farmall 350 in Implement Photos. Search on #100. See how your's compares to my photos. Maybe your mower is missing one or both of the chains.

If they are for the 2 point fast hitch then they cannot be for the 140 (or 130, 100, late Super A, or Cub). Both of those numbers look like part numbers to me. Hope this helps, SAm in NS

Al

Do you have manuals for the mowers? And do you have a leveling box on the fast hitch. Mabe all you need to do is make some adjustments.

Thanks for your reply. No manuals. Wanted one on ebay this p.m. but system was fouled and couldn't get in. I am not familiar with 'leveling box'. Have pic on yahoo photo host site, but it doesn't seem to link to ytmag site. I know it is not a model 100. My mower has smaller arms, but I have two spacers that I drop/slide into fast hitch before I back into mower.

I have some parts manuals and a couple of operators manuals on the older fast hitch mowers. If you could e-mail those pics to me at crockford@juno.com I may be able to id your mowers. I checked out your 2 part numbers and it looks like you took them off the inner shoe hinge.

Do your fast hitch mower manuals cover 2 pt fh only ,or do you have 1 pt also? I just got a 1 pt fh sickle mower for my 100, but have been unable to find a model number ,parts or operators manuals for it. Any help would be appreciated on any information on this mower. Thanks, Mike
