I bought this tractor last year, and while bush hogging it appeared to run out of fuel. The guage read 1/4 and I checked with a stick and sure enough, there was a good quarter of a tank left. I added fuel, bled the lines and filters, and it started right up and ran fine. I checked in the tank, and there's not a high riser tube that would prevent the last quarter tank of fuel from draining. Does this make sense to anybody? Is there something else I'm overlooking?

If you're not on level ground, the fuel could have sloshed away from the pickup.

Nope, I was on a hill when it first started to blubber, so I turned downhill and headed for the barn. When I got home it finally quit on the level.
