I was wondering if I should flush my H radiator like the book says with washing soda? My block drain plug appears to be stuck pretty good (Probably never taken out) and don't know if I would be able to get all of the water/washing soda out unless I get the block drain plug out. I put new antifreeze in it last year, drained and strained it a few times and now there is hardly any sediment in it. The tractor runs cool. Has anyone had any horror stories about removing the block drain plug? Also, I am pretty sure the water jacket has never been off, has anyone had problems with taking the water jacket off? Thanks!!!

use a solution of 1 part Vinegar to 6 parts water. Safe, easy way to flush a block and it will not hurt if you cannot flush all the solution out the botton drain plug.

With modern antifreeze, which has excellent neutralizers and corrosion inhibitors, I'd leave well enough alone.
