Bad O-rings. Should I overbore and High compressio

My 46 H with the C152 is leaking past the o-rings on the sleeves. Since I have to pull it apart anyway, should I bite the bullet and buy an overbore/high compression piston liner kit, or just fix the o-rings? Will the overbore kit with the stepped pistons require any modifications? Where is a good place to buy the kit? I plan on pulling it in the antique class and just putting around the yard with it. Would I be better off fixing the o-rings and milling the head? How much horse would I gain? Thank you in advance.

Since the H does not have O-rings to seal the sleeves, it may be the head gasket, or a cracked block/head. The overbore kits for the H do not require any modification.

The c-152 does not have o-rings on the sleeves, If you are getting water in the oil you probably have a cracked head or a leaking headgasket. If the tractor runs good and does not smoke I would just pull the head, have it checked for cracks and then replace the head gasket.

Thanks for the help. It does not smoke at all and runs great. From what I drained out of the oil, I am guessing it was about 1 cup of anti-freeze since I changed the oil last fall. I guess I will have to pull the head and see what I find. Are the overbore/ high comp. kits worth the money to put one in? Thanks again.
