Seat shock questions

The seat shock on my Super C has no compression damping and tons of rebound damping. Is this normal, or is the shock worn out?

Also, 'bout how much should the seat spring compress? I suspect mine is sagged out, it just about bottoms with me on it (190 lbs).

Thanks,
Bill

you might want to take your shock into an auto parts store and see if you can find a same size gas shock that has spring resistance.

OEM Tractor Parts has both -- 800-283-2122. IH used to make a light, medium, and heavy spring. I think all the aftermarket ones are heavy, should suit you fine, but you will still squish it down most of the way.
