Anybody have the instruction sheet on how to mount Woods manual lift to a Farmall A? I already e-mailed Woods, but don't know when they will get back to me. Thanks..... Stan

Woods sent me a operator manual for the L306 mower in PDF format. It shows the manual lift. If you like I will email it to you. I can not figure out how to attach it to this response.

Stan: I just helped remove one from a B yesterday. It mounts on the right side of torque tube, one bolt into the flat surface just ahead of clutch pedal and two bolts into flat surface on side of clutch housing. The lever comes up just ahead of the steering wheel and to right side of steering shaft. This puts the lifting arm foreward, for the chain to hook onto.

Thanks Hugh, but mine is new, and not assembled. I thought it would be fairly straight forward, but I have spacers, various washers, and a boatload of bolts. I don't want to take a chance of installing it wrong, especially after reading archives about it hitting steering shaft ect....Stan

Get the mower mounted first leave the lever till last that way you will have not used up the spacers bolts so forth. There is no problem with steering shaft unless you make it yourself as there is plenty of room for everything. Some people cant even get shoes on rite or thread a nut onto a bolt. You will not have a problem mounting the lift lever unless you try hard. Getting the heavy assy underneath goes better if you have some help. let me know if you have any problems be glad to help.
