Is there a way to adjust the play out of the steering box on my F12? I have looked thruogh my manuals several times and still can't tell.

Another common thing to do is to flip the steering sector gear on it's shaft. This places the worn section in the front and the "new" section in contact with your worm shaft. This has been covered in many posts recently.

You might check to see if the bearing and nut on the end of the shaft are tight.
