I have a #8 plow and I'm having problems finding moldboards etc. I seen 2 plows for sale today that seem to have different moldboards, shins etc. My plow has a moldboard and a one piece thing below it. I don't know correct terminology for these parts. The one I saw today seems to have a moldboard and 2 maybe 3 other pieces below it. Have I explained well enough? I sure could use some help. Mike

Mike: From the description you give on the 3 or 4 pieces, sounds as though you are describing either plow chief or super chief bottoms, but I've never known those bottoms to be on a No.8 plow. They came with the models 60 and 70. The plow chief bottom has moldboard and shin on top and the point is about 2.5" wide with a separate share going to the right at the bottom side. The only difference in the super chief bottom is it has a one piece point and share. Of course these all have landsides.

If you have a Tractor Supply Store near you , you should be able to get moldboards from them. On a plow moldboard there are three parts, moldboard, shin piece and plow point. All three pieces are called a plow bottom, along with the frog that every thing is bolted to. Good luck
