I have a M that was set up with live hydraulics. I don't know if it is right. There is a pump that spins off the main belt. Its supplied with a hose comming from the drain plug of the belly pump. Then from the pump went to control valve. My question is can I feed that pump from one of the 90* fittings on the clutch side? Or better yet which fittings can I use to supply the control valves(I have 2 valves-2 remotes?) any help on this appreciated. Nick

I have a m & w gear pump on my H. I use the belly pump as a res. It works ok, I found a website where this guy was doing the same thing, he had a diagram of what m&w gear Co. did with the belly pump. Here is the address just copy and paste Link
hope>Link this helps.

It is usually not a good idea to pull pump supply from a drain plug location because that is where all the crud hangs out. However, you have no choice here. The three pressure outlets of the liftall cannot be used because you would be trying to suck oil through the liftall pump. The only other option is the fill pipe but I doubt if it terminates below the oil level. You might be able to insert a smaller diameter hose or pipe through that opening but it now becomes an entry point for dirt. You also need to bear in mind that all hydraulic reservoirs need a small vent to accomodate varying oil levels.
