I have a friend with a henry ferguson tractor that he wanted to sell, so I posted an ad over on the ferguson board to try and give him an idea what it was worth, let me tell ya its a ghost town on that board ! 20 posts total. Dident have much luck finding out what it was worth either. I am glad I am a red guy ! I guess that its safe to assume that the ferguson's were not very popular machines, however I did learn that Henry Ferguson is the one who invented the three point hitch.

Jonathan,
I checked the Ferguson message board but didn't see your posting.
How recently did you post your message?
I have asked a number of questions over there and have always received helpful and courteous responses.
They are a small message board when compared to Farmall/IH,JD,and Ford N, and as such, some of their experts don't "check-in" everyday.
They are a good bunch of guys sharing in our common interest of "old iron."
Give 'em another chance. Mark

I had the same experience with that board. I have a Super A and someone sold me a Massey 22 for $300. I tried to get some information from them but it was a ghost town and I feel they do not treat you too well. It could have been a bad day but I sure felt like an outsider. I'll try again later with them. We are all tractor lovers.

Jonathan; Dads first tractor was a used F-12.Then in 1948 he bought a new TE-20 Ferguson and in 1952 traded the F-12 in on a TO-30. They were good tractors for our farm and for us kids to drive. Then we went to Fords. Because of dealer accesibility I went Farmalls. I had 3 Farmalls and the TO-30 when I retired from farming. I think tractor popularity depends alot on how close a local dealer is and if you could deal with them.
