Can any one tell me how to wire the amp light and oil light into the electric system when using a one wire alternator? Also does the fuel gauge wire through the gauge with a 12 volt wire and then to the sending unit?

There's no place to hook the GEN light into a TRUE 1 wire alternator. If your going to run a GEN light anyway, get a 3-wire Delco alternator.

From the terminal that is "HOT" only with the key on, on the ignition switch, connect 12 Volts to one side of the oil light, one side of the generator light, and to the terminal on the fuel gauge labelled "IGN".

The other side of the oil light goes to the oil sender, the other side of the GEN light goes to terminal #1 on your 3-wire Delco. Terminal #2 on the Delco alternator is jumpered to the big output stud on the alternator, which is connected to the battery with heavy gauge wire, usually to the stud on the starter solenoid, where the battery cable attaches.

Thanks for the answer Bob. I will install a voltmeter in the hole where the glow plug indicator went. I am going to use a switch from a Kubota tractor that had glow plugs. The switch turns backward to heat the glow plugs. Also will use the glow plug indicator for the Kubota this indicator is a wire that gets red when the glow plugs are ready. I think this will work okay. I will not need the orginal glow plug button nor the starter button. With the One wire alternator there will be a minium of wires to use.
