Hey all, It's not a tractor, but it IS an IH. I was looking at it today. 2 owner truck, the first was the proverbial old lady who had it for 30 years. Second owner bought it from her two years ago and it never left it's original farm. Has less than 30,000 original miles. 266 V8, 4 speed on the floor. No rust anywhere except for the bed floor acroos the rear right next to the tailgate. Bed is fine otherwise. Runs great no major issues I could see. Anyway, does anyone have any idea what these things go for? Not looking for a "once in a lifetime deal" value, but an average of what one could pay. Thanks, Zak

Boy, that is a great looking truck. To determine value, do a search on E bay. Probably some on there. At least you can see what folka are asking.

One that looks that good I could see going for $1500-$2000 easy. I wouldn't pay that but I've seen that asked for them.

I dont think the truck is worth more than $2000. I would start out around $1000. I had a 68 IH 1 ton 4X4 flatbed in the 70's and 80's. Not a lot of demand for these trucks. Good luck. Ray

His comment on "if it was a Ford" wasn't meant neccessarily as detrimental to the IH products. It's just that an IH vehicle will be limited as to the number of people who find it desirable, therefore keeping the price down somewhat even for a great original truck. Fords, on the other hand, are highly collected and sought after by many many MANY times more people than are IH's. So, if a person was to find a Ford of this vintage in this condition, the "value", or expected selling price, would be astronomical compared to the IH value. But, remember, when it comes to anything like this, it's worth exactly what someone is willing to pay for it. The trick is finding that someone who's willing to give the most.
