It took 10 years but Ithink that cnh has just about got IH extinct. you guys are realizing it with the new farmalls but look at the rest of their tractor lineup. last fall Isaw a CIH &a new holland about 150 hp [dont remember model #] parked side by side and they were identicle! they sold the plant and design for the old popular maxum line to mccormick. the same plant where the old ih utility models were built. THE only tractors left in the CASEIH lineup with any roots back to IH are the magnums with thier $150,000 price tags. the mccormick tractors have alot more IH influence than ihe case "fordalls" in my humble opinion. hate to say it to. been a red man all my life will look hard at a mccormick for our next tractor.

Well, a little bit of history here.....

The ORIGINAL small Farmall design, by Bert Banjamin in 1922, that evolved into the Farmall Regular, was actually a conversion kit for a FORDSON. IH decided to build an all-IH version (and at the time it was the smallest tractor in the IH line).

Sounds like history's just repeating itself, that's all. Still would have liked to seen different styling and bigger Farmall identification, but I talked to a dealership employee yesterday, and that can't even get them in stock.
