anybody know the torque and length of the bolts and grade, IH here don't no much, if you can help me I really be happy thanksmike

As with all things Cub!, a lot of this info is available on the Cub Manual Server.

The pic of the order is below, but not the torque value which in the GSS-1411 is stated as

"Install the cylinder head cap screws. Using the sequence shown, tighten evenly in steps to 45 ft.lbs torque. Be sure to install all brackets and mounting clips under the cap screw heads before tightening."

This may be found under the Blue Ribbon Service Manuals, GSS-1411, Group 1, Page 01-14.

While you are there peruse the server.

There are 9 short (2 1/4") bolts and 6 long (3 1/4") bolts. Should be torqued to 45 ft lbs.....Bill V.

Don't have any handy to measure length, but torque is 45 foot pounds (use antisieze), they are grade 8. You might be ahead to get them from your local dealer, or order them from www.cngco.com. the short ones (9 used) are $2.25 each (251230R1), and the long ones (6 used) are $1.50 each (251231R1)
