Does anyone know if a w9 carburator is the same as a w6?

The W-6 used an E-12 carb, but the W=9 used an E-13. Similar but different.

I may have a new carb for a T6. I wonder if it would be the same as a W6. I purchased it from an IH Construction Dealer years ago as they were going to pitch it.

yup, it's the same. The only differense is in the throat body and the venturi. who knows what jets are in them after all these years?

There is a great differencein the jets between the two carbs.

Don't know for sure. I would say it is unlikely. The same carb would have to feed a W-9's 335 CID, whereas the W-6 is considerably less at 248 CID. The W-9 is supposed to have an 1-3/8" carb.
