Hmm, MY granpappy happened to have a Farmall C as his first tractor, and later an oliver, and a cub.

He seemed to liek the "originals" just fine..

He's rolling over in his grave at what the farmall name is on now. Seriously, its a newholland...good lord..

Jsut making an observation that I think people seldom think of.Just imagin, some 90 someodd years ago when tractors were really starting to become popular, how many farmers do you think cussed them for the nopise and racket they made and could not see how those beast would make farming better, and of the brand loyalties, how many of us,even now, think another brand is "junk" and Farmalls are the best tractor ever made. While I agree that the name should have NOT have been used as the name Farmall is old and signifacant to the older tractors, but hey,if it helps someone make a decision, good or bad about buying that tractor, then whats it hurt.heck,if any of us live long enough, those may just be classics one day!

I recieved some lit. on the new Farmalls the other day (dang I wish i had a image scanner) later that week I sent for some lit. on a 5303 JD found it to be alot better constructed, them OLD farmalls were dang good tractors, but these new ones are just crap.. I aggree with a previois comment that is is last ditch effort to make a buck, As far as I am concerned if they are disgrace the legendary name "FARMALL" they deserve to be wiped from the earth (in a corperate sence)

Ok, Im lost, was Case/IH bought out my New Holland?

Now its Case/newholland? WTF?

Hmm, pretty harsh opinions on the new line...I agree, it does look similar t othe New Hollands. But are they really new hollands?

Reminds me of when Dodge Brough out the second most recent Ram body style..Ford Had just redone there trucks, and rushed back to the drawing board to make it look more like the ram...pitiful...

Fiat owns NEw Holland and CaseIH and the tractors look the same except the New hollands are blue and the Case IH's are red, No Kidding. Got he www.caseih website and the www.newholland website and see for yourself. Both red and blue tractors have Jap engines and they are assembled in Georgia. Oh well, Cant really afford to buy one anyway unless I get a home equity loan, aint gonna do that.

I like them! I just wish they would have come out about a year ago. That would have been before I bought my green compact utility! Mine new w/loader, 60" deck, R4 tires, 24hp $12,500 FOB. I also assembled the loader and deck (basicly uncrated it and a few minor bolt ons.) Still Love the Red!

Amen!! The new Farmall is a damn disgrace. Case couldn't sell tractors so they painted them red. Ford couldn't either so they're doing the same thing. The Farmall was state of the art in its time and set the standard that all tractor manufacturers had to follow. It was also the tractor that buried the Fordson - now they'er painting Fordsons red AND putting Farmall on them - its a cold day in hell. If they want use the Farmall name they should be putting on Magnums and MX's. I wish CNH board members could read this.

yep the DX21 is about $10,000 with no implements and no tax added. I priced one and it was $12,000 for the 24hp and one rear blade to go with it.

You can help by giving some of this feedback to your CNH leadership. I too stopped in to see the new "Farmall". I agree, a real disgrace. They didn't even have the balls to put nice side emblems on them. They had to use one small emblem on front. I guess they didn't want to spend more than a dime. There is no connection between the Farmalls that built a corporate giant and these POS, just a last-ditch effort to try to abuse the time-honored name to make a buck. This reminds me of the Dodge "Challengers" that came out in the 80s or early 90s. The were econo-box POS that tried to benefit from the muscle car era Challengers of the 60s and 70s. What a joke. It will be a cold day before I buy one. I have 5 real FARMALLs, and am looking to buy a new tractor with a loader and snow blower. Looks more and more like Green to me.

Case-IH sold the rights to the McCormick name to --can't remember the name of the company -- actually I've heard the McCormicks are pretty good tractors, in some ways superior to Case-IH. As to styling, I don't like any of them.
