Hello, Decided to sell my McCormick Deering TT10-20 Crawler, Go to EBAY if you would like to view pictures of this rare beast. A collector told me that the mushroom shaped steering clutch columns were a legal issue with caterpillar and were eventually sued over the whole thing. MD/IH put out a total recall trying to get back every machine produced, and were promising a brand new crawler (don't know what model) This is one that slipped through the cracks. Most estimate that there are only about 100 of these left in the world! BETTER TAKE A LOOK BEFORE SHE IS GONE FOREVER

Whoever that collector was was full of s**T. It wasn't a total recall, the mushroom shaped steering clutches had nothing to do with it. The recall had nothing to do with the lawsuit, either- the tractors weren't exactly what you would call reliable.

I got some bad info, Another guy told me that the reason they were recalled was that the later models had a new feature that didn't work very well. The top off each steering clutch was hinged so the top would open. In the right clutch was an ash tray, and the left one was a beer cooler that had an insulated liner that leaked! This is why my left steering clutch is stuck and rusted due to melted ice and beer dribbles

So Craig Smotzer, other than using this forum to promote your e bay sales and forward really stupid modifications that no one would ever believe were real and being able to make Guy Fay so up set he had to type a "bad word", what else can you do? Me personally? I wish you would do it some where else. Please Jon
