Help ID this motor TD14

Local scrap yard has a motor they say came from a running TD14 that was hauled in. It is a gas motor What tractors would it fit? I can buy it for 142 cents a pound tomorrow Thanks for the help Larry

Sorry I messed up last night. The price is just 14 cents a pound for it. I haven't saw it yet. My son was hauling scrap & the guy was trying to sell it to him. Scrap yard owner might now even know what is from for sure. I may go look later today Thanks for the replys Larry

Larry - If you're talking about the gas-start TD-14 diesel it's a very large, heavy engine. Was never used in any IHC wheel tractors. Only equipment I've seen them besides in the TD-14 crawler is a few power units and in some 50's era Austin-Western graders.

Incidentally if that 142 cents a pound price is correct, run for your life!! A TD-14 engine when it was new didn't cost that much….

Is that $1.42 per pound?

It won't fit any ag tractor except maybe an experimental IH. The engines were used in IH dozers and sold to other equipment mfgs. Generator sets and road graders come to mind.
