Has anyone done or heard of doing this, takeing and run hyd from rear pump, instead of MCV pump, to brake system on 86 series. If so what all does a person do and is it feasable?

Rich I would think you are barking up the wrong tree here what would you gain and what would you use for relief valve. The mcv is a priority system what would do with the oil that goes to the brakes. Why would you do this in the first place. That pump only puts about 3 gallon to the mcv the rest goes to cool the oil.

I am not interested in doing this, but a customer has told me that another repair shop has done this to his 1086,claiming that brakes get to hot and MCV pump does not put out enough to keep them working properley. This same repair shop told this fella that his ta was out when he only took it there to have the AC worked on.
