I have a F-11 Farmhand loader with a Gresen 3 spool valve unit. I purchased a new pump about a year ago. The lift under load is slower than expected and when the lift lever is released, the load drops some. The heaver the load, the more the drop. When lift lever is activated the load will drop before starting up. The loader does not leak down no matter how long it sets so I don't think the cylinders are leaking. Is the problem with the valve? Is there a fix, can it be rebuilt? Cannot find much info on the Internet about Gresen valves.

Thanks
Woody [NE]

dont know if it helps but i have seen the same problem in caterpillar equip..have you checked the pressure on thepump? you may not be getting enogh pressure to the control valveand letting the control valve leak pressure off till the system catches up.good luck

after thinking on some more you may not be getting enough volumefrom the pump..possible restriction in the suction line or possibly sucking air or even a strainer or filter plugging up.is the pump used on just the loader?how does it operate with everything else.just a thought.
