We have a self propelled IH 175 Windrower powered by a Wisconsin VF4D motor. My Grandfather used it for hay when he had dairy cows. Apparently IH didn't make too many because the pull type conditioners became popular about that time. I was wondering if anyone else is still using a 175? If you happen to know what years they were made and quantity that would be nice to know. We're fixing this one up to cut some hay this summer. We picked up a similar New Holland self propelled conditioner, but it kept destroying belts so we liberated the motor to get the 175 running again. Thanks.

I have one with the 19.5 foot grain platform. It has the larger VG4D Wisconsin. There is quite a difference in power with the larger engine. I seems to me mine is a 1968 model, can't remember for sure!

That right - it's a VG4D. I was thinking of the other Wisconsin motor we had from a baler. Thanks.
