I keep blowing out the seal on the pump? I have a guage mounted on the manifold and it indicates leass than 1500 psi. Is this problem due to worn pump, if so where can i locate a new one?

You can try your CNH dealer if you haven't allready. I think they still sell a seal kit for the pump. As for a rebuilt pump CNH is the only place I know were you can get one but they are spendy, close to $300 bucks. Maybe someone else knows were to buy a rebuilt or new one.

Are you actually blowing out the seal, or does it just leak? The shaft undoubtably has a groove in it from the seal, put a speedi-sleeve on it, then a new seal. Some models have an o-ring rather than the seal, in that case you have to have the shaft hole enlarged, then use a sleeve.

No groove in shaft. Blown seal. Have been using chicago rawhide 6203 recommended by napa. it is a single lip seal. I have tried to locate a better seal with no luck.
