Being spring and all, this seems appropriate - I'm guessing that Allen Bishop has an '83 Harley. Do any of the rest of you have bikes ? My regular ride is a '70 Norton Commando, but I have other Nortons, Hondas, and Bultacos too.

I have an 82 Suzuki PE175 enduro. Darn thing'll go anywhere some wild hiefers will go when they get out and get crazy. 4 wheeler or 3 wheeler won't go through the ravine where these stupid !#*(#$%!! go when they get out. I love this bike. Give $200 for it, done a little TLC on it and there ya have it. Hate bikes in mud, though. Many times been under that darn thing in the slop! Someday 20 or 30 yrs from now when all the work might be done I'd like to get an older Harley. Maybe someday....

Yeah- I ride a '48 chopper, low and black and loud. I built it with little exerience and lots of help about ten years ago. The enthusiasm of the people on this site and their good natured generosity in answering questions always remind me of the 18 or more months spent tearing down and building and tearing down and rebuilding that old HD.

I have four Harleys. None of them newer than 1942. The only one registered and used alot is a 1940 Knucklehead. I sometimes run it with a sidecar.

I bought new superglides in 1971 and 1972. They both got stolen. They cost about $2200 back then.

Hey riverbend, I had a 1983 lowrider shovelhead when I signed on to the net, but got older and now have a 2002 FLHTCI. It's okay I guess, but it's just not the same as the lowrider with short shotgun pipes and a giva-a-**** attitude. You know the one. All for now, Harley
