how much trouble would it be to get an old 25V sickle bar mower to work on an even older F-14? right now it has a hydraulic lift cylinder welded onto it, but it appears as though i can easily remove it and put a hand lift on.

Ralph,

could that model possibly be the #16? i haven't been able to find any references to a model #12.
i picked up what appears to be a model 25V and possibly a #16 (or #12 if that exists), but i am not sure of the second one because i haven't found a good picture of one online yet. i'll try to post one tomorrow (it's too dark now to get a pic).

It will probably bolt to the drawbar but you may need a really long handle for the lift to reach the seat. You'll also need an adaptor to change the size of the PTO. If you have a junk yard near by there was a mowing machine made specifically for the F12/14 which would be the best way to go.

Charlie,

would you have any idea what that model mower may be that connects to the F-12/14?

thanks.
