I recived an E-mail from a guy in the UK over seas and he wants to buy my tactor and he wants to send me a cashiers check from some one in the USA. It's for more than I'm asking for the tractor and he wants me to wire the money via western union for the rest of his money. He says that he will arrange for the tractor to be picked up and shipped to the UK. DOES THIS SOUND LIKE A SCAM? ALL INFO HELPFUL!

Jeff, it's simple. Send me all your money along with your tractor. I'll put them to good use and you will have peace of mind it will circulate in the U.S. of A.

Vee, If the guy sends you a check, do nothing more than turn it over to F.D.I.C., or F.B.I. That way it will be His EMERGENCY, not yours.

I would try to contactothe UK police and try to put them out of business. Maybe they can be deported if they are not legal citizens in the UK.

Yup, its one of the first Internet scams I heard of when the net first started.

Many people fell for it.

They send a check, you send the extra, there check bounces...then they dont exist anymore...lol..so your stuff with the tractor, and your out the money you sent them.

Yes! Yes! Yes! Never deal with anybody that wants to send you a check for more than the price and then wants you to forward the surplus money to them. You will be stuck with the tractor and be minus the "surplus" money.
