i am looking for a high compression cylinder head for my 43 M. A regular head would work, but i would really like to put a high compression head on it. If anybody has one that they would like to sell or know where i could get one, i would like to get some prices thanks

I have bought a parts LP M. I should have it home
soon and I will sell the head at a reasonable price if it is okay. Let me know if you are interested.

The head you are looking for is an 8060, if you can find one of those in good, useable condition, with good valves, seats, and guides, you will be looking at a price tag of somewhere around $500.

I can get you a regular gasoline head for an M fairly cheaply. I can also have it cut down .100" or whatever you want in a machine shop for about $100 extra. I did this on my 300 and got great results. Cheaper than rebuilding an LP head and paying the LP head price! Zak
