Hi All,

I'm fixing to buy a tractor from Ben Burns, Janesville, MN. dba Burns Implement. Have you had any dealings with Ben? Good or Bad?

Comments?

What kind of tractor and where are you located? I have not bought a tractor from Ben, but he and his partner (B & G Repair) do all of the maintence/repairs on my 2 cyl. JD's. They replaced the radiator, water pump, rebuild the power steering and ground the valves on my 56 "60" last year, and I think they did a good job. I have my son's 50 "A" scheduled to go in this spring for a complete overhaul. Some of his tractors are good, some not so good. Most of them come from North Dakota or Canada. Most are wheatlands, which you hardly ever see used here in southern Minnesota. Let me know what tractor, and I'll take a look at it. I live less than 10 miles from there. Loren

One more thing, Ben is usually pretty fair on price, but many are not quite what he says they are.

Buyer Beware!!!!! !!! I took him at his word about the condition of a W-4 and told him that I would take it. Drove 500 miles to Janesville only to find that he had way over stated the condition. It wasn't anything close to what he had said it was. Drove another 500 miles home with a empty trailer. 1000 miles pulling a trailer isn't a lot of fun.
