I just received an International TD6, serial number TDBK13002T7CN. It has low hours and little signs of use, however; the engine and transmission are stuck. I was wondering if it would be worth fixing? THANKS

Craig, I have a good running engine for you, if thats the way you are going to go. It just needs a starter. Where abouts are you located. You can shoot me an email. Thanks. Hound.

Hey, Thanks for your reply, I ran the serial number @ two different places, My book says that this is a 1940, Power Motive (Denver Komatsu Dealer) says that it is 1946. Either way I am very confused, It looks to be early 40's, however; the original paint on it is yellow, not red. I take it your engine is red? That's what I prefer as I plan on taking it back to it's original red color. I am located north of Denver, CO. How much are you asking, and where are you located?? THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY

If both are stuck, that doesnt sound so good. A running one is worth a few bucks. If you are not too far away from NY, let me know what you want for the u/c. Or if you wanted to fix it, I have some spare used engine parts. greg@supercgis.com -Greg

Thanks for your reply, As of right now I plan on restoring this bad boy back to original, I have $0.00 into it as it was given to me by one of my customers! However; I sell Teeth, Cutting Edges for Dozers, Scrapers, Loaders etc. as WELL AS AFTERMARKET UNDERCARRIAGE! I sell BERCO, which is manufactured in Italy and who makes undercarriage for alot of the O.E.M.'s The Undercarriage on this TD6 is BERCO, and has been replaced not too long ago! I can probably get you new Berco undercarriage complete, the sprockets, idlers, and rollers I would have to check on, but the rails, pads, nuts & bolts are available. I could not sell this too you from where I reside in the US, as you are out of my sales territory, but I give steep discounts and can pull some weight with Berco and have your local dealer pass on my discount to you. If you are interested, let me know and I will contact your local dealer and have them contact you! The rails from berco all come a Cat like Yellow, but I can request them come non-painted, soo they won't clash with your TD6 Red..... THANKS
