The lower bearing in the bottom of my Regular steering bolster has some play to it.Noticed this last time I had it jacked up.Are these a replaceable bearing? Or will I find other worn parts besides? This is about the only thing I haven't tinkered with yet.Saw a post a while back about making an extension to raise the front of the tractor up to sit level when running the 36" rears. How does that work?

Jacked it up and checked further today. There is about 1/16" play in the bottom bearing. Is this too much? Or should I just grease it good and not worry about it?

I know nothing about your particular tractor type, but I believe most folk on this board have pretty darn good sense. Go with your gut. The play is bothering you, and most likely you will feel better about everything by replacing the bearing. You may have to rework or replace other worn parts, but again, you'll feel better about it all when you're done.
