I am trying to put a IH wide front from a 560 on to my 450.It seems that there should be a spacer between the front casting of the front end and the tractor. is that right? if so how thick should the spacer be?

Thanks in advance.

I measured my spacers last night. 1.50" Diameter x 1.72" long. Works great and minimal cost. Have used it under a loader with round 1300 lb. bales for 6 years.

The best way to put a 560 WFE on a 450 is to get a different rear support. The part number is 360406R1. I know where one is located if you are interested.

The rear mount is shorter on the 450. I have a rear mount that I will sell.

I did the same thing. Yes I had to make 4 spacers. Will check them tonight and reply tomorrow.

I onced took a front end from a 560 and put it on a Super M, I don't remember any spacer it was a Nordon front end, not a factory IHC.

After thinking about it for a while I have seen thick washer spacers on some tractors usually about an inch.

I put a 560 WFE on my 300 and had to make a new pedestal mount, a new rear mount, and spacers. The spacers were the easy part as you just use 2-three 5/8" flat washers between the pedestal and the front end. The rear mount I just cut short, re-welded new 1/2" flat stock to,, and bolted her up as you would have. No big deal. The front mount was the worst as I had to cut and drill and weld...etc. -Z-
