I know you've got a fine 400. I'm getting mine in shape now, too. Would you please tell me how the brake pawl release mechanism is attached to the brake pawl or possibly post a picture of the one on yours? Of course, I'm taking for granted you have one on your 400. Many thanks in advance, Kelly.

I can post a photo no problem, But I am not sure what a brake pawl is.
Can you give me more detail.
Kelly

think he wants a picture of the parking brake lock and if it has a set rod on the back of the console or not.

Yes, it's the parking brake lock. It's called the brake pawl rod in the parts manual. Thanks to you both.

I dont think I will be able to help you with that. Mine is also broke. Or atleast it does not work as it should. I can still lock the brakes by reaching down and ingaging the thing by hand like on my H. But the rod part just slops around.

Thanks anyway, Kelly. Appreciate your response. If I get mine fixed, I'll post you a picture.
