I'm trying to remove the steering sector. Manual says use a suitable puller? I've tried a wood block and hammer on the nut with no luck Should I use a bigger hammer or is there a suitable puller?

Make sure you have front wheels about 1-2 inches off ground. The weight of wheels, etc. should help in forcing gear loose. If all else fails, use a little heat and a brass punch. This worked on my "M"!

What tractor are you working on ? Sometimes you need to tighten up a gear puller and give it a good whack with a hammer to pop it loose. But in your case, it is hard to tell.
