What are the chances of finding a replacement carb for my old H. I could use a good lead to find one as the old one leaks everywhere. I believe the serial number is FBH206511. Thanks for any help.

You can most likely find a rebuildable one in a salvage yard. Look for salvage yards in classified ads. The H is common tractor. What is wrong with yours? Maybe it can be rebuilt. Unless it is broke, it likely just has bad float, needle valve, gaskets, ext. which is causing the leaks.

Mine is wore right out. There is nothing tight left on the carb at all. This is a tractor that I am trying to get running that has sat for quite a while. The local case/IH dealer said no can find for parts or a replacement.

Try contacting Troy in Texas, I'll bet he'll have a good carb for you at a real decent price. He has always treated me real fair and his prices are alot less then mosts are. Here's his e-mail address, if you want to try him. farmallman2@AOL.COM. Tell him Ted from Maine told you to contact him. Think you'll be pleased with his price.

I was able to get a re-build kit for my C from Case/IH. It was after that that I discovered there was a hairline crack in the body of the carb. Was able to get a brand new one from Case/IH.
