I HAVE AN M AND A 400 THAT POP INTO TWO GEARS
AT ONCE.
I AM TOLD THE SHIFT LEVERS CAN BE BUILT BACK UP
TO MAKE THEM WORK PROPERLY. HOWEVER, TWO YEARS AGO I TRIED AND FAILED
WITH AN H, SO I ROBBED FROM A DERELICT TRACTOR. 1. WHAT PART OF THAT LITTLE SHOE AT THE END OF THE SHAFT NEEDS THE BUILDING? 2. SAFE TO DO WITH JB-WELD? 3. ANY OTHER HELP APRECIATED.

Hank,
I'd use a stick or wire welder. Just build the whole square part up (out) about 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch. Grind it back square, with just a small amount of rounding on the edges. Maybe add a little to the sides if they are wore too. It doesn't need to be perfect.
