What do you think a single front H would go for? Here are a few specifics: 3 point on the rear. All tires hold air. Paint is all there but faded but you can not see the decals anymore. All sheetmetal is strait. All it needs is a battery. Oh, and it runs! What, in your opinion, is this worth as a seller or a buyer? Thank you in advance.

You say all tires hold air. That doesn't tell me anything, I have seen some very rotten tires still holding air. Also, the single front wheel adds no value to the tractor. With the description you gave, I would estimate the value somewhere around $500.

I just bought one like you described except without the 3 point hitch for $350. I thought I got a steal. I built a 3 point for my M for $300. $759 is a fair price.

The tires are about 75%. The front one has a few dry rot cracks. Are you trying to tell me that they made just as many wide fronts as trike and trikes as singles? Are you telling me that their would be absolutley no collectable value to it? I have never seen a single front Farmall of any type. I found one and the guy wants $750 for it. That is why I am asking all of these questions.

The trike was an option, and not very desirable for restorations. The replacement tires are very expensive, they are more difficult to turn than the narrow front, and to repair wear, you need to chuck up each up in a lathe to true them up, then make a new axle on the lathe.

I beg to differ.

Having put in thousands of hours on both single front wheel and conventional tricycle I find that single front steers much eaiser. Never had any problems with axle and used regular 7.00 or 7.50 x 16 3 rib tires.

I have done the same thing -- usually there is not much difference in steering the NF or SF, as long as the ground is firm. In very loose soil the SF sinks in and is harder to steer. In general, though, having done disking, etc with both the NF and SF there isn't much difference. As to price, I would be willing to pay a "little" more for a wide front, no difference for a SF or NF. Single fronts are very common in the south. My dad (vegetable farmer in Texas) had an H with all three fronts.

Around $850,, figuring a little more for the 3 point, but most homemade 3 points aren't worth too much.
