Question for the board at large: I'm upgrading my 300 from a set of stock bore 3 9/16" pistons to a set of 3 5/8" Gould firecraters. The tractor ran great when I pulled the head and had excellent compression, no burned oil, etc. I've got a fellow that wants to buy my pistons, rings, and sleeves for his stuck 300. What'd be a decent asking price (fair for both of us and not a "friends" discount either) for the set of four? They aren't new, but they aren't trash either. Technically I could bolt her back together and use what I've got but if I can offset the price of the upgrade by selling the stock jobbers, all the better. So, what'd you guys pay for something like this? ???

We run a used tractor parts business and we would normally sell those at $25 ea for pistons and the same for sleeves.

Not much, I'd maybe pay 25% of new (plus shipping).

Half of new price is fair in my opinion.
